Ifeanyi Ubah: PDP Anambra, One Good Turn Deserves Another

It's barely 72hours to the much-anticipated Governorship Primary election of the largest Political Party in Sub-Saharan Africa- the ever boisterous and great Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the Light of the Nation- Anambra State.

At the mere mention of our dear Anambra State, the Light of the Nation, shivers runs through the spines of others.

Yes, the Biggest Governorship Primary election that would turn around the fortunes of Anambra  State for Best is about to hold on Saturday, August 26, 2017, in Awka, the State's capital.

If you move around Anambra State as I write, there is heavy tension in the land as the who is who in the PDP across the country, particularly the state gather to observe the electoral process that would arm the PDP with a formidable and gallant Flag-bearer that possesses the deep and heavy financial war chest to give the ruling party in the state, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA; the ruling party at the centre, the All Progressives Congress, APC, as well as other emerging political parties, a run for their money.

Should I tell you why the forthcoming Anambra State governorship election is an exciting one that has already caught the attention of Nigeria's ardent political observers? Anambra is a State with the largest confluence of Multi-Billionaires, as well as eminent members of Nigeria's and Africa's Intelligentsia community. So, such a State deserves the Real Deal as the Numero Uno- GOVERNOR. Such a State doesn't deserve a Novice or Green-horn particularly in the areas of Governance, Human Capital Development and Managerial Expertise.

We have tested the bad and sour taste of how a green-horn debilitates a state like ours. We are never going back to Egypt.

Here is a state that produced the First Nigerian President and Nationalist, Late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe; Late Literary icon, Professor Chinua Achebe; the Great Mathe-Matician, Chike Obi; former Senate Presidents, Late Dr. Nwafor Orizu and Late Chief Chuba Okadigbo; Blessed Iwene Tansi; Francis Cardinal Arinze; Attorney - General of former Eastern Region, Louis Mbanefo; Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Valerian Okeke; former Minister of Education and Rights Advocate, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili; the terror of drug Lords and former Health Minister, Late Professor Dora Akunyili; former Commonwealth General-Secretary, Chief Emeka Anyaoku; Late Biafran Warlord and Eze Ndigbo Gburugburu, Chief Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu; Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe; veteran actor, Chief Pete Edochie; founder Community of Yahweh Worldwide, Rev. Musa Amakaeze; the Master Styleguide Specialist and Teacher, Emeritus Professor Sylvanus Ekwelie; renowned Constitutional lawyer, Professor Ben Nwabueze; Deputy Sabbath Primate, Archbishop Hyacinth Agwaniru; voiceferous former President, Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba; veteran economist and former Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Prof. Charles Soludo; first Nigerian female Professor of Mass Communication, Prof. Chinyere Okunna; second Nigerian female Professor of Mass Communication, Prof. Kate Omenugha and famous African writer, Chimamanda Adichie- the list remains endless.

Are we to talk of renowned Anambra billionaires- Late Sir Louis Ojukwu, Nigeria's first Billionaire; oil magnate and Chairman, Chrome Group of Companies, Sir Emeka Offor; oil tycoon and CEO, Capital Oil & Gas Industries Limited and Authority Newspapers, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah; Chairman, Innoson Motors, Chief Innocent Chukwuma; Dr. ABC Orjiakor, CEO Seplat Plc; Engr. Ernest Azudialu, CEO Nestoil; Arthur Eze, CEO Atlas Oranto petroleum; Senator, Anambra Central, Andy Uba; Cosmas Maduka, CEO Coscharis Motors; Clement Ibeto, CEO Ibeto Group; Chief (Dr.) Alexander Chika Okafor, CEO Chicason group, AZ oil; Nnetochukwu Azubuike, CEO Genesis Hotel and Genesis Deluxe and Cinemas; Mrs. Stella Okoli, CEO Emzor Pharmaceutical and the list remains endless.

With all these heavyweights from one State? Little wonder the name Anambra reverberates like thunder and lightning whenever it appears even like a flash in the pan in any news item.

Be that as it a may, it would be recalled that since February 24, 2017, that Nigeria's electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, released time table for the Anambra State's Governorship election billed for November 18, 2017, army of 'entertainers', 'political jobbers' and 'pretenders' have once again reared their ugly heads. Also, real and serious contenders are also in the race.

One of such serious contender is Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, a charming Manager of humans with proven and tested managerial expertise, a firm believer of human capital development, the father of Youths, the grassroots mobiliser and creator of jobs, a man with the midas touch of gold.

For a quick review, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, is an illustrious son of Otolo Nnewi, Anambra State; a Billionaire, oil magnate, Chairman, Capital Oil & Gas Industries Limited, Publisher, Authority Newspapers, Proprietor, FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Chairman, Anambra State Football Association.

Dr. Patrick Ubah who Chairs the Boards of several blue chip companies boasts of over 2000 employees in his oil firm, excluding other companies of his. This no doubt proves the fact that he is the biggest player and largest employer of Labour in Nigeria's petroleum downstream sector, even more than the retail outlet of Nigeria's National Petroleum Commission, NNPC.

Having consulted deeply and widely across the state and beyond, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah decided to contest the forthcoming Anambra governorship poll on the platform of the PDP.

Anambra Youths across the three Senatorial Districts as well as the 21 Local Government Areas of the state have since then been thrown into a frenzy by the decision of Dr. Ubah to obey the Clarion Call to Service.

As well, Anambra powerful stakeholders and the PDP family in particular can vouch for Dr. Ubah's candidature, a man who has supported the Party in no mean measure with his intellectual sagacity, financial war chest, verified capacity with little or no government's support.

The verifiable evidences of the victory Ubah recorded for PDP candidates across States Assemblies, National Assembly during the last 2015 general elections abound, using his heavyweight political vehicle, the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN.

For a man who has in no mean measure paid his dues for the great PDP, and Ndi Anambra in general, it would perhaps not amount to asking for too much from Anambra PDP Delegates to rally behind this great mobiliser of youths come Saturday, August 26, 2017, during the party's governorship primary elections.

PDP Anambra must come out with Full Force, Formidably and must rally behind Dr. Ubah, one aspirant with a verified financial war chest to chase out the Rudderless and Nepotic Intruder in Agwu Akwa come the D-Day.

The journey to #Correction2017 starts now.

Dear Ndi Anambra, the ever Gallant and Formidable PDP Delegates, One Good Turn Deserves Another.

A call on Chief Felix Idiga (JAFAC), a man who has gone far ahead of his time to take up leadership positions

For the last couple of years, The Mo Ibrahim Foundation which annually confers the most outstanding leader award to African leaders who have distinguished themselves in the art of leadership, has refused to confer the award on any of the present African leaders reason as cited by the foundation is that none of them is worthy. But, does this translate that they're dearths of leaders in African? Read on. It's true that leadership in Africa is currently being led by those whom political profiteering has become an unquenchable vision- Men whose drive is their personal enrichment; the prosperity of the nation becomes a lesser issue to that of themselves. It's also true, that Africa has obscured their best men from assuming leadership positions. Men who have created wealth and jobs for their communities without being in an elective leadership position. Men whose fecundity is unquestionable and whose loyalty lies always with the people. Men to whom leadership is natural ha...

ANAMBRA PDP PRIMARY: Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah heads to court.

Barely three weeks after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) conducted its governorship primary in Anambra State, one of the aspirants, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, yesterday questioned the credibility of the primary and vowed to achieve justice in the court of law. Addressing newsmen in Abuja, Ubah accused the leaders of the party of using fake delegates’ list to conduct the primary, adding that the certified copy of the list he got from Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was different from what was used at the primary. Kicking against the primary, the Chairman of Capital oil described it as a show of shame, adding that Oseloka Obaze, who was declared winner, was never given a waiver by the party National Executive Committee (NEC). Ubah, who said that he has exhausted all internal mechanism of the party, added that “I think it is the court that can address the situation now. We are going to court and if ...
