Valentine's Day: Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah Urges Nigerians To Show True Love To One Another

As Nigerians join millions of others across the world to celebrate the St. Valentine Day of Love, the Chairman, Capital Oil & Gas Industries Limited, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, has urged Nigerians, irrespective of the ethnic nationalities to show true love among one another.

In a Felicitation Message personally signed by Dr. Ubah who is known for his unfettered love for the human capital development of Nigerian youths, said: "What is Love? What does the Bible teach us about Love? A lot has been said in the Bible in an attempt to make Love intelligible. 1 John 4:7-8 summarizes Love in its entirety - "Love is God" and "God is Love."

"In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, the characteristics of agape - the altruistic and selfless love that God represents are listed: Love is patient and kind; Love doesn't envy, boast, or dishonor others; Love is not proud or self-seeking; Love is not easily angered, doesn't keep a record of wrongs, and doesn't delight in evil; rather, Love rejoices with the truth; Love always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres; Love never fails."

The Publisher, Authority Newspapers, affirmed that "The Bible also taught us that God was so moved by Love that he gave his only Son in a bid to save the world from eternal damnation as elucidated by John 3:16 which reads "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life. This manner of Love was demonstrated by God despite man's failure to live by his tenets and commandments.

"All in all, God’s demonstration of Love shows that one is not required to be “worthy” before receiving or being shown Love as true Love is gracious.

"Seeing that Love is God’s nature and God is the solitary source of Love, we should endeavor to show Love to one another as taught by Jesus Christ in Matthew 22:35–40 and Mark 12:28–34 where he commanded us to love our neighbor like we love ourselves."

"It is imperative that we allow Love in the manner demonstrated by God be the principle and standard that guides and informs all our actions/inactions as this would definitely make our world a better place to live and coexist in. Let Love reign supreme! Happy Valentine's Day to you and your family," said Ubah, as he felicitates with millions of Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora.

I congratulate you because you have spent the last 19 years of your life championing the cause of humanity via your diverse interventions which have deepened Nigeria's legal jurisprudence and have also in no small measure improved the administration of criminal justice. A perfect gentleman to the core, a detribalized and courageous Nigerian. Our paths crossed over 2 decades ago when by God's special Grace on your life, you distinguished yourself as a young man of strong morals and ethics, excellent character and virtuous attributes. Your achievement over time speaks volumes of your tenacity, commitment, drive and genius. At a relatively young age of 42 years, you attained the position of the Secretary-General of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), a rare feat; and by the special grace of God, you will be voted in as the next President of the Nigerian Bar As...

Message to the Members of the PDP Board of Trustees From The Ifeanyi Ubah Support Group.

We came with humility to inform you of the great injustice meted out on some faithful members of the PDP, most especially Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah which is on the verge of tearing the party apart as well disunite the members of the PDP in Anambra State bearing in mind the deplorable state of our reward system. Owing to the primary election which was recently conducted, it is an obvious fact that the primary election was designed to favour the anointed candidate of a godfather in Anambra State against hardworking party faithfuls and loyalists and people who have suffered for the party, most especially, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah. Out of the seven candidates aspirants, four withdrew from partaking in the primary elections owing to the irregularities. However, it takes humility and party commitment even in the face of manipulation, scheming and glaring irregularities, for one to continue in the race just as Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah did. It is on record that Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, since the sham of a primary election...
