Handshake Across The Niger LOC Visits Governor Rochas Okorocha ably led by Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah

The Local Organising Committee members of the "Handshake Across The Niger", an initiative of NZUKO UMUNNA (Ndi-Igbo Think-Tank) this afternoon paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Imo State, Owelle (Dr.) Anayo Rochas Okorocha.

The team which was ably led by it's Chairman Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah reminded the Governor that the initiative was born in a bid to re-visit, explore, sustain and strengthen the bond between the Igbos and Yorubas as well as advance the mutual coexistence of the two tribes in today's Nigeria.

In his remarks, Governor Okorocha appreciated the effort of the team which is geared towards strengthening the mutual relationship between the two tribes. He equally assured the Nzuko Ụmụnna total commitment to make sure that the event will end successfully.

The event holds at the Base Event Center, Independence Layout, Enugu on 11th January, 2018 by 11am.

Before the Nigeria independence, the Yorubas has been the greatest host of the Igbo tribes including their business empires and white collar hobs.
